The FAS Inequality in America Initiative is a multidisciplinary effort to elevate and energize teaching and research on social and economic inequality and to use what we learn to inform the public debate and public response to these challenges.

The initiative draws together a Harvard-wide network of scholars and students and sponsors a variety of academic activities, including including regular meetings of the thematic research clusters; symposia; a postdoctoral fellows program; competitive research awards; curriculum development; and community engagement projects.
